Recently I stumbled upon really nice philosophy abbrevited  IDFAF that probably can make me more extrovert. Turns out being extrovertic makes introverts happier  so it might be something really good for me. In last couple of months I started to care too much about what people think. Even my colleagues noticed that I was much more pessimistic and introvertic.It is time to try something new. I would say that my mindset changed a bit last month. I am really inspired by creative work and I always try to create something on my own. Unfortunately, it backfires most of the time and I end up with something that is not working or just impossible to do in my spare time. After reading " learn game development like woodworking " and " Steal Like an Artist " I feel better just going after the book, write examples and copy (I'm doing exactly that with "iOS Programming" book). I feel free from the urge to create something innovative that most of the time just made me too much stressed to do anything... It's ok to copy and recreate existing app ideas, you're going to learn a lot from the process. The same rule applies to all kinds of learning. Project/Game At the end of May I wanted to try idea from "First 20 Hours" . Unfortunately I must admit that it didn't work for me. Probably because I didn't want to give up on everything else I was doing and because of 'emotional' problems that he mentioned. Basically fear of failing, anxiety. I'm not sure but it's my guess. This is a long time since last post in August. From that time much happen and I have read a couple of books and failed in some other ways but first go with reviews. Finished: World War Z by Max Brooks. I liked this book and can recommend it. Easy to read. It's written as stories from zombie war but it's much more than that. There are polytics, current black market (and zombie world black market of course) but there's much more in a book than I though. I can give it 7/10 (and this is really good value). You Are Now Less Dumb by David MacRaney. I bought this book the day it was published. I have already knew some of the chapters but most of them were amazing. I loved the ones about stories. Just awesome. This book gets solid 9/10 from me :) MongoDB Course I have failed, mostly due to my scheduled holiday when I was offline. This is short update as I'm really busy recently and it looks will be till mid-October. Tech: HTML5 Canvas Tutorial by Eric Rodwell   - really good site! Strongly recommended! HTML5 Canvas Cookbook by Eric Rowell  - tutorial is better because interactive :) If you're going to run all code samples and play with them then it makes sense to buy it. Of course buying this book is a good way to help author :) Clojure - Functional Programming for the JVM - unfortunately it is too boring for me, long and lacks any story/structure. Maybe good to easy find something you need by Ctrl-F. (No link because this is boring :) Non-tech: Painted Man - Petera V.
