Book Review: The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

It is a good read - especially after giving up on The Sword of Truth series. I can say that I enjoyed it, especially closer to the end as the action moves slowly. End of the book was much better and I had a hard time to put the book off t go to sleep. I liked the characters and they seem real and thinking for themselves. But Jezel - while he grows throughout the book is just annoying.

Most of the book while helps us learn the characters does not move the action at all. I feel like the first book is only the introduction to the book as almost nothing happens.
